Daily gut-joint formula

LYVA Flex

A daily formula built around the gut-joint axis. The mechanism under study is this: the gut microbiome is linked to systemic inflammation, and that inflammation reaches joint tissue. LYVA Flex brings together prebiotic fibre for the gut, botanicals researched in relation to joints, and vitamins C, D3 and K2, in a single daily sachet.

Formulated without glucosamine. Built on peer-reviewed research into the gut-joint axis.

What's inside

Every ingredient earns its place.

An ingredient stays only if there's human research behind the job we've given it. We're still finalising the exact forms with our suppliers, and when we decide, we'll tell you what we chose and why.

Gut pillar

Prebiotic Blend

Inulin and FOS fermented by gut bacteria to produce short-chain fatty acids. SCFAs are being investigated in relation to cartilage and subchondral bone via the gut-joint axis (Han et al., Stem Cell Research & Therapy, 2025).

Joint pillar

Boswellia Serrata

Researchers studying boswellia focus on a compound called AKBA and the 5-LOX pathway. Extracts vary widely, so we're confirming exactly what's in each supplier's extract, with lab certificates, before we commit.

Joint pillar

Turmeric (Curcumin)

Curcumin, the active compound in turmeric, is notoriously hard for the body to absorb, so the form matters as much as the amount. We're choosing between two well-studied forms and will name ours once the decision is made.

Also inside: rosehip, and vitamins C, D3 and K2. Vitamin C contributes to normal collagen formation for the normal function of bones and cartilage. Vitamins D and K2 contribute to the maintenance of normal bones.

A deliberate decision

Why we don't include glucosamine.

Glucosamine is in almost every joint supplement on the market. We reviewed the evidence and made a different choice. Research published in Nature Metabolism found regular glucosamine use was associated with a significantly higher likelihood of mild cognitive impairment progressing to dementia.

We're not in the business of including an ingredient in a daily supplement when serious questions exist about what it does to the rest of your body. The gut-joint axis gives us a better mechanism. We used it.
